The Beginning

1st Annual Coral Head Music Festival

The first annual Coral Head Music Festival launched on February 18, 2017, transforming the Marathon Amphitheater into a full-day celebration of rock and roll. Fiddle Rock took the stage at 12:45 PM, kicking off an afternoon that built to headlining sets by Molly Hatchet and Georgia Satellites. With general admission tickets at just $25 and VIP at $35, it was a day the Florida Keys rock community had been waiting for.

All proceeds went to Project: VetRelief, supporting Florida veterans through the American Legion Riders Post 154. The amphitheater was packed, the weather was perfect, and a new Florida Keys tradition was born.

The Return

2nd Annual Coral Head Music Festival

The second annual Coral Head Music Festival brought Fiddle Rock back to the Marathon Amphitheater, this time performing as a full band. The lineup was headlined by the Atlanta Rhythm Section, bringing their Southern rock sound to the Keys. Fiddle Rock opened with a full rhythm section — drums, bass, keys — filling out their signature guitar-and-fiddle duo into a wall of sound.

The festival was growing, drawing bigger crowds and bigger names. But Fiddle Rock was still there from the beginning, proving they belonged on that stage.

The Grand Finale

3rd Annual Coral Head Music Festival

The third and final Coral Head Music Festival on March 4, 2019, was the biggest yet. Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe headlined a stacked bill that included Jackyl, Sweet, and John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band. Fiddle Rock returned for their third consecutive year — one of the only acts to play every single festival.

Playing as a full band with keyboards and bass, Fiddle Rock delivered a set that showed how far they'd come since that first 12:45 PM slot in 2017. Three years, three festivals, all for a great cause.

The Coral Head Music Festival may be over, but the memories — and the music — live on. Three years of rock in the Florida Keys, all for a cause bigger than the music itself.
